Title: The Laughter of Children
Words: 100
Rated: G

Harry and Ginny stood in the empty lounge of their new home, their arms around each other. They allowed four-year-old James, three-year-old Al, and one-year-old Lily to run around. After all, there was nothing to break.

James and Al chased each other on the field of soft carpeting, squealing in delight. Lily toddled after them, attempting to keep up. Having not yet mastered running, she couldn't manage it. She fell, landing with a thump on her bum. Before she could cry, her brothers "fell", too. All three children laughed as they made a new game of running and falling together.

Title: An Unusual Anthem
Words: 100
Rated: PG
Prompt: music ([livejournal.com profile] hpgw100)
A/N: Written for George Weasley's birthday, this drabble is sort-of based on a real life event. Yes, really. ;)

Harry and Ginny sat down together in the pew. "So George and Angelina sing in the choir?" Harry whispered to Ginny.

"Yes, so do Angelina's parents. They've been attending this church for all of Angelina's life, I think."

Harry began to peruse his bulletin. "George arranged one of the songs they are singing?!"

"Oh that's today?! Yes, George mentioned that he had found some ancient chant he really liked and convinced the director to have the choir sing it. Shh . . . the service is starting."

***

"Ginny? Why is the choir singing 'The Itsy Bitsy Spider' in Latin?"

Title: Teddy's Sorting
Author: Mollywheezy
Words: 100
Prompt: Sorting Hat
Rating: G
A/N: written for [livejournal.com profile] hp_nextgen100 challenge #7 "Sorting Hat"

Teddy stood with the other first years, thinking. His Dad, Harry, and Ginny were Gryffindors. Harry would love to have his godson in Gryffindor, but Teddy wasn't sure . . .

His Mum was Hufflepuff, but he hated yellow, so probably not . . .

Gran was Slytherin. She'd love to have another Slytherin in the family, but he didn't know . . .

Harry told him the hat would let him choose, but Teddy didn't know what he wanted.

The hat barely touched his head and shouted, "Ravenclaw!"

Brilliant! Teddy smiled as he joined the table for HIS house.

Title: The Culprit
Words: 100
Rated: PG
Prompt: frozen
A/N: Sequel to "Christmas Spirits" and "Happy What?"

"George didn't spike the punch?" Harry asked in surprise. "Then who did?"

"Lucy."

"Lucy!?"

"Yes. Apparently Dominique dared her, and she used one of George's products knowing that I'd suspect him first. George would have taken the blame, too, except that Dominique and Lucy had an argument, and Dominique tattled on her."

"So how did you find all of this out?"

"Audrey brought Lucy over and made her apologize. I'm sure Lucy will be grounded until she turns seventeen. Usually Percy is the one who is strict, but the look on Audrey's face would have frozen Voldemort in his tracks."

Title: Happy What?
Words: 100
Rated: PG
Prompt: Holiday
A/N: A very belated sequel to my drabble "Christmas Spirits".

Harry saw Ginny putting the finishing touches on a . . . Harry wasn't sure what it was. It was the strangest gift-wrapped box he had ever seen—covered in paper with pumpkins and flapping bats, with a red bow that held a sprig of holly, and a card in a pink envelope with red swirling hearts. Harry had no clue.

"What is that, Love?"

"It's an Un-Birthday gift for George. You know from that movie we all saw with Hermione's parents."

"Alice in Wonderland?"

"That's it!"

"Why, though?"

"Because George was not the one who spiked the children's punch."

A/N: I *think* this is the last of the "things I forgot to post on my own journal". ;)

Ginny was nervous hosting "Weasley Family Christmas" for the first time, but dinner was delicious, and everyone was having fun. She could relax.

She sat with Harry talking to her parents. She heard a commotion and went to investigate to find Lily passed out in a chair, Albus leaning against the wall giggling, Fred, Roxie, James, Molly, and Louis rolling on the floor laughing, Teddy and Victoire snogging, and Dominique and Lucy were nowhere to be seen. She saw the punch bowl on the table, sniffed it, and shrieked, "George Fabian Weasley! What did you put in the children's punch!"

Title: I Want Daddy!
Words: 100
Rated: G

Ginny awoke hearing screaming. Groggily, she grabbed her wand and sprinted to Lily’s room.

“What’s wrong!?”

“There’s a monster in my closet!”

Ginny lowered her wand and sat on Lily’s bed, hugging her tearful daughter. “Sweetie, you just had a nightmare. There’s no monster.”

“Yes there is! I think it’s a chimera like last time. Daddy fights monsters and wins cuz he ‘feated Valdymart and’s Bestest Daddy Ever! You’re not brave like Daddy, or you’d ‘feat monsters, too! I WANT DADDY!!”

Of course, Harry was on an Auror mission. Ginny sighed and carried her crying daughter to sleep with her.
